APPLICATION
The needs of motorcycle and ATV’s are distinct from that of passenger car oils and one unique example is the requirement for the fluid to lubricate the gearbox. Further to this motorcycle and ATV oil temperature will often exceed those of cars, requiring better thermal stability to minimize oil degradation and deposit formation. Generally motorcycle and ATV’s also run at high speeds, output and higher temperature hence higher lubricity performance is important and reduces metal to metal friction.
